Featuring four charming bedrooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities accommodating up to eight guests, the reception areas comprise a spacious and comfortable lounge and a generously sized Tuscan kitchen with a cozy breakfast nook.
Surrounded by terraced olive groves, the gardens offer sweeping valley vistas that extend across the swimming pool to the medieval towers of Lucca— an idyllic setting for leisurely summer evenings spent with cherished family and friends, basking in the essence of Tuscan tranquility.
For centuries, olives have been harvested from the terraced slopes enveloping Il Frantoio. Originating from the 16th century, when it served as the private mill for the Controni family during their summer retreats at the villa, the frantoio remained operational until 1997, processing olives from the villagers of Vorno and yielding some of the finest olive oil Lucca has to offer. During its restoration, the cellars revealed large and ancient terracotta vats, once utilized to store the freshly pressed oil—a testament to its historical significance as a prized commodity.
